Why I think I am an "Aspie"...

This link will take you to an image of female specific Aspie symptoms. My husband and I both read over this list and were both shocked on how it is me exactly. I was like “Oh this should say Melissa at the top”… Like I was telling my husband, I am not excited and happy to have a form of Autism but I am excited and will be relieved when I get a diagnosis, because I always thought something was weird about me and to hear what it is will be nice. And from looking at Asperger’s Syndrome it doesn’t sound like a horrible thing. I have been like this my whole life, it will be nice to have a name on what I have. I have found the Aspie community to be awesome, I feel right at home.  I like watching people’s Youtube channels about Asperger’s Syndrome, really helps me to understand. I also like visiting these website’s forums and chats on a daily basis: The Wrong Planet and Aspies For Freedom. They are very helpful and informative. So if you suspect you are an Aspie or if you are and haven’t heard of these sites, check them out!
